Popped back to take the after shots (swipe for the before) of this floor we did by Brighton main sea front for a new cafe/takeaway called Waffles and Waves. 4 coats of the best commercial finish you can get for an environment that will see some serious foot traffic.

This is our next project. About to start 100sqm of floors in old fisherman’s lofts in Newlyn one of the oldest and biggest fishing ports in the UK. The building is about 200 years old and after consultation we are trying to restore the floors whilst keeping the character and its history. Updates to follow.

Our high-end floor sanding, fitting, restoration & finishing business is looking for an experienced Wood Floor Restorer covering Cornwall. Established over 25 years with a well earned reputation for quality work, we work with a range of clients including homeowners, holiday let companies and commercial. The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years experience in high quality wood floor restoration, experienced in using a range of sanding equipment from Bona and Lagler. Work is on-site throughout Cornwall. Due to the physical nature of the work and the handling of heavy machinery you will need to be fit and physically active.

You will be supported and managed but will need to be able to work independently and occasionally with a team member. You will need to manage your own time and be a self-starter. The candidate must be smart with good interpersonal skills as you will often be customer facing representing the company.

We offer a competitive salary subject to experience, pension contribution, uniform and a fully equipped van (after satisfactory probationary period).

If relocating, we can assist with accommodation until mid-March.

This is one where all the tiles were made by one of Britain’s most famous potters Bernard Leach. This is a priceless and very rare item and when you are sanding the floors right up to the edge, it’s not a job for an apprentice!! 😂😂

Everyone loves an after & before!
This one finished with an invisible finish and white tint just to tone down the amber in the pine. We worked hard to make the repairs to the existing boards rather than replace and if you look carefully you might spot the big on in the middle! Another happy client.

This was a new primer and top coat from @loba_on_top_uk that both us and most importantly the client was very happy with.
