Because we love working with wooden floors, we relish the challenge they sometimes present.
So as well as sanding, restoring and finishing, we happily tackle more complicated jobs: hearth removal, for example, the ‘lacing in’ of timbers, adding or removing mat wells, creating bespoke thresholds or simply gap-filling and /or repairing damaged boards (with used or original boards, wherever possible).
Our experience...
Our experience encompasses Victorian pine, modern engineered oak, tropical hard woods and parquet. This experience means we’re also happy to advise on the best approach to restoration based on the floor’s proposed use. For example, is it a busy family kitchen, a holiday let near the beach or a lounge with big family pets?
Our most important job is always the one we’re working on. We’re relentless in our drive to keep improving: researching new products and equipment, never resting on our laurels. And we’re justifiably proud of our work.
